Our Story
At FamilyFirst, we are more than just a group of believers—we are a family in Christ, answering Yahshua’s (Jesus’) invitation from Matthew 12:49-50: “Here are my mother and my brothers. For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” We are united not by earthly ties but by a shared commitment to live out the will of YAH. We embrace the call to become spiritual siblings, bonded not by flesh, but by the Spirit.
Our vision is to cultivate a spiritual community for young adults from every culture and background to live out the truth that in Christ, we are all part of YAH’s eternal family. We want to provide a safe space for YAH’s love to be experienced. We aim to exhort and equip each other through engaging events, authentic fellowship, and life-changing teachings rooted in biblical principles.

Who are the Founders?
Our journey towards FamilyFirst truly began when we made the life changing decision to follow YAH and receive the Holy Spirit. During our transition out of a lifestyle rooted in the world, we endured a lot of spiritual warfare and sacrifices that eventually led us to release our will, dreams, and even relationships in order to be in alignment with our Father. This led us to enrolling in ministry school for 2 years.
Our revelation and knowledge of who YAH is increased tremendously during this time, as He molded us into His servants. Chris was eventually called out of his career in the Summer of 2023, out of pure obedience to where the Father was calling us. A few weeks later, we found out that Teraé was pregnant. Now this is where it got real for us.
Immediately we were thrown into different projects that were Holy Spirit-driven, until He led us to FamilyFirst, a Christ-centered community of believers that thrives outside the walls of a traditional church setting. Through this ministry which first began on our Youtube podcast FamilyFirst (@FamilyFirstPod), we want to provide our brothers and sisters in Christ with a supportive environment where we can all connect, learn, grow, and walk boldly in our faith. Our only purpose is to fulfill the call that YAH has given us, and we want to do it with a like minded community. It’s hard out here, but together as one heart and mind, we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
What We Believe
1.
We believe in calling on the true Hebrew names of God the Father (YAHUAH or “YAH”), God the Son (YAHSHUA), and the Holy Spirit (RUACH KODESH). (Ex. 3:15, Ex. 20:7, Isa. 52:6, Jhn. 5:43)​

We believe in YAHUAH, YAHSHUA, and The RUACH KODESH being one God existing in three persons who have their own separate functions. (John 1:1-3, John 10:30)

We believe in the full resurrection of YAHSHUA who was sent by YAHUAH to die for our sins. Through our belief in this, we then receive eternal salvation and are found innocent on the day of Judgement. (1 Pet. 1:3-5, Rom. 10: 9-13)

We believe the Holy Bible to be the true Word of YAHUAH. We believe it to be written by man, inspired by the Holy Spirit. (2 Tim. 3:16-17)

We believe you must be born again in the spirit to receive salvation and the Kingdom of YAH. (1 Jhn. 4:13, Jhn. 3:3)
6.
We believe good works does not grant access into YAH’s kingdom, but faith alone in YAHSHUA. It is by grace that we are saved. (Eph. 2:8-9, Rom. 3:27-28)
7.
We believe true faith is shown through the actions of keeping all of YAHSHUA’s commandments. (Jam. 1:22, Jhn. 14:15)
